Who's "Steering"

I have decided to start this blog off with a poem

I created in college. It’s entitled:

Profound thoughts of a newborn

 Here it is:

Coming into this world

Feeling the sting of a cold synthetic palm

Torturing my tiny body

Too small to fight back

Too new to know what life really

Who am I?

Will I be loved?

Will I be scorned, simply because of

The color of my skin?

I am afraid of who I am

Or what I might become

I realize now

I have no choice

I must comply

Looking up

I see bright lights

And a unfamiliar face

Smiling, looking down upon me

A soft fleshy bosom touches my face

And as I suckle the sweetness of mothers milk

I am no longer afraid

I am unaware of the cruel world I was brought into

Time will be my enemy as I grow

As I learn the reality of life

But, for now, I am safe and warm

My eyelids are heavy

And I am weary after my long journey

I drift off to sleep

And dream of nothing as my life begins

Can’t remember what kind of place I was in my mind. It was a lifetime ago when I wrote that poem and I still wonder why” I even wrote it at all.  I sometimes wonder about the “why’s” . “Why are we here?” As I am sure many of us ask ourselves on a daily basis.

I have narrowed it down in my little pea brain mind, that we come from the sun, I mean..can you imagine the sheer intensity of energy our star emits?! I mean F$%K!!! Insane right! From what I hear, the human being is a massive bundle of energy. Trillions upon trillions of microscopic molecules, running rampant throughout our 3D layers. That’s a “shit-ton- a- load” of energy there. (If that’s what you believe in  of course.Other people have different opinions of the topic, and I don’t intend on dumping on anyone's beliefs. Your little soul packages, of what you were born with, are yours to decide what to do with here on our planet when you get here.

What my belief is that we all have lessons to learn and this planet makes for a pretty good classroom. I believe that we are creatures created by “universal design”. I mean, when you think about it, every single organ in our bodies has a purpose, and without the working parts, the vessels don't operate as efficiently as they should.Darwin's theory of evolution,  “Survival of the fittest”, almost makes sense, in a way,  but, did we come from the ocean? (Million dollar question I guess). Think about the body sometimes and what we need to survive. Food is right up there with the essentials, in the big pyramid of life requirements. For the human body to exist, we require food.

Cows, for example, are a form of food many of us love and  devour. (never thought I was going to prelude to the topic. Better late than never.)

Animals were put here, but by whom? Cows, sheep, and other livestock, poultry included. Kind of nice when you have the stuff available for you to use and survive with, but who the F&%K put it here??? There are more religions and belief systems out there on our planet, it’s mind boggling. Some religions worship cattle, some religions kill cattle, (they call it sacrifice, I call it killing). Just my opinion. Some people believe in reincarnation or incarnation in which when a person is born and dies, they come back to earth as another form of life; to come back and experience more lessons. I get it! We all need to find a purpose for something. Wonder if cattle, sheep, and any kind of living creature that awaits being slaughtered think about their fates, and what the F%&K they did in their past life to deserve this? Yeah, Karma is a bitch, something else I believe in, and I am up to have any conversation, anyone wants to post. Thanks for letting me share and thank you for sharing!

Appreciate you guys!
